AUDREY DICKEY MINISTRIES

Glory International Center

"A Center for God's Presence"

When Communion is taken with the understanding that there is power in intimacy with Christ in the taking of the bread and cup it will yield the following benefits:

l.    It reminds you of what Christ did for you and who you are to Him.

2.   He sees your faith in action as you remember your covenant with Him.

3.   It reminds you that the Lord is your Salvation and in that you have eternal life, provision, abundance, protection, deliverance and His promises.

4.   It causes you to examine and judge yourself (Are you saved? Did you ask for forgiveness and repent? Have you received His forgiveness?)

5.   It causes you to purify your heart and release all unforgiveness towards others.

6.   It limits the power of the enemy from operating in your life.

7.   It brings you in closer communication/fellowship with the Lord.

8.   Because of your faith it becomes spiritual medicine to help you walk in healing:  Spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, financially and socially.

9.   It brings greater unity to your marriage and family.

10. It reminds you of His promises, one being, that if you "believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved --  you and your household" Acts 16:31.

I Corinthians 11:23-34 KJV and Matthew 26:17-29:

"…this is My body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of Me."  When you cut a covenant with someone the next meal is a covenant meal eating together to ratify what was just done. Even though we are all individuals we are one and should love one another.

God does not see bread and a cup of juice when we take communion but He sees your faith in action reminding Him of your covenant knowing this represents His broken body and His blood that was shed to redeem you, to heal you, to make provision and give you an abundance, as well as protect you, forgive you of your sins and to give you all of the promises in the Word of God = all of which is a part of your covenant with Him. Furthermore, we can expect Him to move on our behalf because of our covenant with Him.

Prayer:

Father, in the name of Jesus, I recognize that I have a covenant with You that was sealed by the Blood of Jesus.  Because Jesus’ body was broken for me and His Blood was shed on my behalf, I acknowledge that He bore all sin, sickness, disease, sorrow, grief, fear, torment, unforgiveness,  strife and lack.  Through His sacrifice, I receive redemption, forgiveness and total deliverance from the works of the devil. Because of my covenant with the heavenly Father, I also receive healing spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, financially and socially. I give thanks for it all, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

Then we can partake of the elements: I Cor. 11:23-25.
