A PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND THE INFILLING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

If you are not  Saved (Born-again) with the Infilling (Baptism) of the Holy Spirit or you are a Believer and would like to rededicate your life to Jesus speak the following Prayer out loud and tell someone of the Decision you have made regarding the Good News!

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to You now, just as I am in the name of Jesus.  Your Word says, “…Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved” Acts 2:21. And it says, "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved," according to Romans 10:9 NKJV.

I believe and confess now that Jesus (Yeshua in Hebrew) is the Son of God and He is alive today. I receive Him as my personal Lord and Savior.  I ask for forgiveness and repent of my past sins and I choose to forgive others for their trespasses. Thank You Father God that Your Son has set me free from eternal darkness, I John 2:2, 12.  I now declare that I am redeemed, I am healed, I am blessed, and I am whole. Therefore, I now have a renewed, abundant and confident life in Christ Jesus, the Messiah.

Father God, You said my Salvation would be the result of Your Holy Spirit giving me new birth by coming to live in me Romans 8:9, 11. So I ask You now for the Infilling of Your Holy Spirit as you have promised.  Thank You for the gift to speak in other tongues, my spiritual prayer language that is unknown to man but known to God according to Acts 2:4 and I Corinthians 14:2. Now I bind the strong man that was sent to rob me and I plead the Blood of Jesus over my mind and mouth as I now release from my spirit my spiritual prayer language in Jesus’ Mighty name.  Amen! Give God Thanks!

Begin to praise God for filling you with the Holy Spirit.

(Speak the words and syllables you receive not in your own language, but the language given to you by Holy Spirit! It is a heavenly language that will develop as you use it daily.  For additional revelation and information about your spiritual prayer language and its benefits click here.)

This Prayer is based on Romans 10:9-10 NKJV which says:

"That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

God Himself gave to His people signs in the Tanakh (Old Testament or Old Covenant) to recognize when the Messiah  (the Christ, the Anointed One) would arrive, see Isa. 7:14; Isa. 40:3-5; Isa. 53:3-9; Dan. 7:13-14; Rev. 5:1-10.

I John 2:2, 12 AMP says:

"And He [that same Jesus Himself] is the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins, and not for ours alone but also for [the sins of] the whole world. …because for His name’s sake your sins are forgiven [pardoned through His name and on account of confessing His name]."

“Justified” – We are as if we never sinned! We are declared righteous, acceptable to God because of the Finished Work at the Cross where Jesus took our sins and gave us His Righteousness because "in Him we have redemption through His blood..."  Hallelujah for a God Who Saves, Ephesians 1:7; Acts 4:12.
